Professional career
Ángel Calleja belongs to the first graduating class of winemakers from the Escuela de la Vid de Madrid, where he graduated in 1975 with the highest grade in the history of the school.
After completing his studies in Enology, he assumed the Technical Direction of Agrícola Castellana. Since then, he has continued to grow as a winemaker, just as the winery has grown in production and quality, which year after year becomes a new challenge for Calleja. Calleja's experience has been a key factor in the winery's evolution. He is currently one of the most prestigious winemakers at the national level.
