Since 1996, he has been the technical director of Bodegas Abadía Retuerta. Other achievements: Winemaker of the Year worldwide at the International Wine Challenge 2005. Extensive experience in research. Member of the International Academy of Wine since 2001. Co-author of the wine terminology dictionary "LEXIVINO." Master’s professor in Oenology at the University of the Basque Country. Author of various scientific publications. Conferences and symposiums.
