Professional career
Andrew Halliwel (1970, Manchester, United Kingdom) has more than two decades of experience working in different wineries in countries such as Australia, Mexico, India, Chile, Canada, and, above all, Spain. In our country, he has been involved in projects located in eight different designations of origin: Somontano, Toro, Costers del Segre, Cava, Rioja, Navarra, Geteriako Txakolina, and Terra Alta.
At the end of 2021, he joined Bodegas Obalo as managing winemaker. At this winery, he works to offer an open and innovative vision that aligns with a project seeking to reflect Rioja tradition from a unique perspective.
