Our will is to produce wines of excellent quality, honest and expressive, that combine the typicity of the land they come from with their own distinctive, memorable personality.
Professional career
Almudena began her training in New Zealand and established herself as an enologist in one of the most renowned wineries in Ribera del Duero. She is currently part of the preparation program for the “Master of Wine” and joined Bodegas Viña Mayor in April 2015, recognized as “one of the best winemakers” in our country. Since 2018, Almudena Alberca has been part of the fewer than 400 Master of Wine worldwide, being the first Spanish woman to achieve this distinction.
From 2015 to 2024, Almudena Alberca was in charge of the Technical Direction of Entrecanales Domecq.

Training
Graduated in Oenology from the Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineering in Palencia, where she also completed her studies as a University Specialist in Viticulture. Additionally, she is an Agricultural Technical Engineer from the Polytechnic School of Zamora and holds the Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the International Wine & Spirit Centre in London. First Spanish woman to become a Master of Wine.
