He began his professional career at INTA (Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria), standing out for his young talent, which at the age of 28 led him to take on the position of Head of the Soil Analysis Department. Later, he began his work at Catena Zapata in 2002 as Director of Research and Development. At the beginning of 2003, he joined the winemaking department as the person responsible for the winery's "top" lines. Gradually, the results of his research were incorporated into the winery's operations with excellent achievements, which led to him being appointed Chief Winemaker in July 2007.

Graduated as an Agronomist Engineer from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the National University of Cuyo (Mendoza), where he completed a Master's in Oenology and Irrigation and later a Master's Course in Microclimate Definition and its Impact on Wine.
