Attiki

The southeastern part of the Central Greece region, which includes the capital Athens, is home to the P.G.I. Attiki, a protected geographical indication since 1992. A small production area that hosts a handful of producers primarily making red wine.

Mediterranean, with mild winters and warm summers.

The soils predominant in the region are mainly limestone and schist, with some plots also featuring gravel.
