Pinotage
It is a red grape with an intense color. The clusters are medium to large in size, as are the berries. This variety is vigorous, ripens early, and produces high yields per hectare. It produces fresh and very fruity wines with a good alcohol level, but it can also be somewhat flat or simple and, at times, tannic.
Weaknesses
The pintonage is not prone to pests.
