Navarrete Tinta
The clusters are cylindrical, long, with shoulders and compact. The grapes are medium or small, round, and blue vermilion in color. The wines have a high alcohol content, good acidity, and coarse-grained tannins that allow for aging in oak. They are usually wines with an intense vermilion color, aromas of blackberries and sloes, toffee, and tobacco leaf, volumetric on the palate.
Weaknesses
Medium sensitivity to powdery mildew and more sensitive to downy mildew and botrytis.
