The clusters are medium-sized and compact, with shoulders and a rounded shape. The fruits are rather small, slightly flattened spherical in shape, and a beautiful lead-red color. In addition to the color it brings to wines (amber-reddish), it provides persistent sweet aromas of dates, Alexandria rose, and honeyed flowers. On the palate, it stands out for its high alcohol content, low acidity, and tannins that are vegetal and slightly bitter. It is usually blended with other white grapes to give it a Muscat-like character (sweet wines, mistelas, arropes...).
Weaknesses
Its high sugar content makes it vulnerable to wasps. It is very sensitive to powdery mildew.
