Molinera

The clusters are large, very elongated, and loose. The grapes are medium-sized and spherical in shape, with a garnet color. Their yield is high in quantity, which results in delicate, neutral wines with little body and flavor, low alcohol content, and a tendency to oxidize. They are used to produce sparkling rosés, achieving very good results with fresh wines (thanks to the carbonic), with delicate aromas of cranberries and dairy notes, creamy and enveloping on the palate. The brut versions incorporate a touch of sugar that enhances the overall balance, softening the tannic notes of the variety.
Weaknesses
It is a variety quite resistant to diseases, although it could present some issues with botrytis.
