This variety, characterized by large clusters and abundant vegetation, also features large grapes with a crunchy pulp. Its fruity character, silkiness, lightness, and low acidity on the palate stand out more than its less intense aromas. Modern winemaking techniques have achieved wines that are more resistant to oxidation (to which the variety is prone), creamy, and easy to drink.
Weaknesses
Sensitive to botrytis (especially when autumn has been rainy) and to mites (erinosis).
