The clusters are large and loosely packed. The berries are small and greenish in color. This variety shows good suitability for winemaking, given its high alcohol potential and medium acidity. Primary aromas are scarce, with hints of white flowers. It is often blended with other more robust varieties (for producing young white wines, it is commonly used together with the Zalema variety, also native to Andalucía), resulting in fresh and fruity wines. Traditional fortified wines are also produced, aged using the criaderas and soleras system.
