The clusters are small and loose, with bluish garnet-colored berries, medium-sized and spherical in shape. It is a tintorera variety (meaning the pulp also has color), with a high polyphenol content, which translates into a good contribution of color. The alcoholic strength of the wines is low, the acidity high (which provides freshness), and they exhibit intense fruity and wild aromas. These are bold wines, with good structure, low alcohol content, and a certain acidity that contrasts with the tannins, resulting in angular wines on the palate.
Weaknesses
Sensitive to powdery mildew. It may have ripening issues when weather conditions are not favorable.
