Red Garnacha is also known as Grey Garnacha. The clusters of this white grape variety are medium-sized, pyramidal in shape, with loose and lightly compact shoulders. The berries are medium-sized, spherical, and have a grayish-reddish skin. It is a very interesting variety for the production of rosé wines due to its balance between acidity and alcohol. It is also used alongside other varieties with more color. With low color and a glyceric texture on the palate, it offers fresh aromas of strawberries and hay on the nose.
