Colombard

In France, it is still used in blends for white wines in some Bordeaux appellations; and in Gascony to produce local wines. In California, it is used for fruity white wines with an interesting character, both in sweet and dry versions. This grape has a natural acidic character and is used as a complement to other varieties in blends.
