The clusters are very small, compact, with high acidity and good malic content. The berries are also small and bluish-black in color. When the fruits are fully ripe, concentrated wines are obtained, with a high content of coloring matter and characteristic vegetal aromas of black fruits (sloe). Good alcohol content and tannins (sometimes vegetal and bitter) that benefit from barrel aging. In general, they are long-lived wines.
Weaknesses
Due to the humidity of the climate in which it is grown, it is sensitive to fungal diseases, such as mildew.
