Bical

With conical-truncated clusters, compact and medium-sized, bical is a white grape typical of the Portuguese region of Beiras, also present in Dão and Bairrada. With early ripening, it is a grape highly resistant to vine diseases but sensitive to powdery mildew. Wines made from bical grapes stand out for their freshness, aromaticity, and good structure. Usually intended for the production of sparkling wines.
