The berry is medium-sized, uniform, spherical in shape, and blue-black in color. The skin thickness is medium, and it is seedless. It has late budding and ripening, with a low sugar content in the must. With good fruit, the baga grape variety produces wines with intense color, wild berry and black plum notes, firm tannins, sharp acidity, and hints of coffee, dried herbs, tobacco, and smokiness. It has great aging potential.
