The Colchagua Valley is located about 150 kilometers south of Santiago, Chile, a narrow appellation that stretches from the foothills of the Andes Mountains to the Pacific Ocean.
Climate
The Colchagua Valley stands out for its Mediterranean climate with four distinct seasons. It features hot, rain-free summers, allowing for proper and uninterrupted ripening. The valley opens to the Pacific Ocean, which has a positive effect on the vineyards by cooling the valley during the warm season.
Soil
The vineyard is located in a transversal ridge of the coastal mountain range. The geological origin of these soils is mainly volcanic, with red granite, andesite, basalt, and rhyolite being the rocks that compose it.
