Included in the Coquimbo region, the D.O. Limarí is being discovered by the world as a magnificent place for vine cultivation, thanks to its good solar radiation and the influence of the nearby Pacific. The camanchaca, a refreshing mist that comes from the ocean, slides every morning from the west into the valley and retreats as the sun rises over the Andes, bathing the vineyards in its full light.
Climate
Fresh Mediterranean, due to the influence of the Humboldt current that flows through the Pacific.
Soil
On the southern bank of the Limarí Valley, there are between 60 and 70 cm of soils with clay and alluvial content. The subsoil is composed of a large amount of calcium carbonate, which imparts good acidity and freshness to the wine.
