We present the latest vintage of one of the most renowned Albariños in the world: Mar de Frades 2025. A white wine with all the essence of the Atlantic, a touch of salinity, elegance, and good volume. Its striking image matches the quality of its content.

Mar de Frades 2025, 100% Albariño, originates from selected vineyards in the Val do Salnés, both owned and from independent growers, where respectful viticulture practices suitable to the environment are employed.

The harvest was conducted manually, in small crates, with grapes carefully selected in the vineyard itself. Once in the winery, the grapes went through a sorting table to ensure only the best berries became this white wine.

The Mar de Frades winery is part of the group led by La Rioja's Ramón Bilbao (Zamora Company). In 2007, Mar de Frades renovated a traditional winery and commissioned new facilities equipped with the latest technology, located in Meis (Pontevedra). Alongside these, there is a splendid estate of Albariño: Finca Valiñas, which stretches over the hillside overlooking the Val do Salnés valley.

The label of Mar de Frades 2025 (D.O. Rías Baixas) features a thermosensitive logo that reveals a small boat when the wine reaches its optimal drinking temperature.

General Information

A pioneering winery in the production of high-quality albariños, since 2007, with its new facilities, it stands majestically facing the Arosa estuary.
