Viña Esmeralda 2024 is a a must-try for lovers of wines with floral aromas and a hint of sweetness on the palate. This vegan white is one of the greatest gems made by Bodegas Torres, a major Catalan firm founded in 1870 in Vilafranca del Penedès: a pleasant blend of Muscat of Alexandria and Gewürztraminer with a Mediterranean fragrance and freshness. Enjoy it with seafood and fish appetisers and pâtés.

Belonging to the Torres Icons range (Familia Torres), Viña Esmeralda 2024 is a white wine that faithfully reflects the character of the Mediterranean. Enticing, mouth-coating and moreish, it captures the essence of the sea breeze and the lush vines of Mas Flassada, on the slopes of the Catalan coastal range.
The aim pursued in making this white under the D.O. Penedès was the preserve the purity of the varietal flavours. The Gewürztraminer and Muscat grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness and the bunches were exhaustively sorted. The must was extracted under pressure and fermentation was stopped at the right moment to achieve a perfect balance. The result is a wite that preserves its aromatic intensity and is full of freshness.
Viña Esmeralda 2024 is ideal with seafood salad, grilled prawns, patés and a variety of fish.
