Viña Bujanda has established itself as a symbol of excellence in the Rioja region. This project was initiated by Carlos and Pilar Martínez Bujanda in Oyón and is currently led by the fourth and fifth generations of this renowned winemaking family. Their work is distinguished by commitment, refinement, and quality. A clear example of this is the Viña Bujanda Reserva 2019, a Tempranillo from a harvest rated as Excellent, made with grapes from Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.

Viña Bujanda Reserva 2019 is made with Tempranillo grapes from vineyards located in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and a maceration period of 16 days. The wine ages for 24 months in oak barrels, 70% American and 30% French.
Since 1889, the Martínez Bujanda family has been deeply connected to the world of wine. At Finca Valpiedra, nestled in one of the most privileged areas of Rioja, they have developed a project that reflects a modern vision of Rioja wine, crafted exclusively with selected grapes from their own vineyards.
In 2009, Carlos and Pilar Martínez Bujanda founded Viña Bujanda as an independent winery, staying true to the same philosophy: meticulous viticulture, manual harvest in small boxes, rigorous selection, and aging in high-quality barrels. Today, the fourth and fifth generations lead the project, managing 120 hectares of vineyards across Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.
Viña Bujanda Reserva 2019 pairs perfectly with grilled or roasted meats.
Bright and clear, with a purple hue and bluish reflections.
On the nose, it reveals a complex elegance, with aromas of tobacco, wood, and subtle notes of blackberry, plum liqueur, and endrinas. The retronasal is intense, with milky nuances.
On the palate, it stands out for its great volume, freshness, and prolonged elegance.
The saga of the Martínez Bujanda family boasts over a century of winemaking tradition. From its beginnings, the family's winemaking philosophy has been based on selecting the best terrains and producing wines from their own vineyards. This same ideology governs the winery Viña Bujanda (2009), which has 120 hectares of vineyards (between 20 and 60 years old) spread across different estates in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.
