Viña Pedrosa is one of the brands on which the prestige of Ribera del Duero rests. We present its most long-lived version, the gran reserva, crafted by the so-called “fathers” of the Denomination of Origin. Viña Pedrosa Gran Reserva 2014 is an elegant, complex, and very long-lived red wine.

Located in Pedrosa de Duero, the Hermanos Pérez Pascuas vineyard covers an area of 135 hectares. The predominant variety is the native tempranillo, which represents 90% of the cultivation. Most of the vineyard is old and trained in bush vines. With vines over 40 years old and low yields (3,500 kg/ha), they produce Viña Pedrosa Gran Reserva 2014: 90% tempranillo and 10% cabernet sauvignon. Manual harvest and long aging of 24 months in oak followed by 36 more months in bottle. A long-lived wine that will show its potential over the years.
Founded by brothers Benjamín, Manuel, and Adolfo Pérez Pascuas in 1980, who decided to cultivate their father Mauro Pérez's vineyards and start producing Viña Pedrosa wines. The Pérez Pascuas brothers were pioneers in promoting Ribera del Duero as a quality wine region. They, together with a handful of wineries, created the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Ribera del Duero in 1982. Today, Hermanos Pérez Pascuas is recognized as one of the most iconic and prestigious wineries in Ribera del Duero, with strong presence in both national and international markets.
