Verdeo 2023 is the flagship wine of Bodega Magarín, the family Torres' winery in Rueda. Interested in the potential of the verdejo grape variety, predominant in Rueda, the Torres family set their sights on the municipality of Villafranca de Duero (Valladolid) to embark, in 2015, on a new project focused on crafting great white wines.
Verdeo 2023 is the latest vintage of a vegan, balanced, and intense single-varietal wine that follows the quality trail of previous harvests, such as the 2014, awarded the Gold Medal at the Sélections Mondiales competition in Canada. This wine, a safe bet from the D.O. Rueda, pairs perfectly as an aperitif or alongside seafood or baked or grilled fish.
Tasting notes
The white wine Verdeo displays a pale golden color.
Fragrant, clean, and fresh nose distinguished by delicate vegetal notes (hinojo), spicy notes (anís), and fruity notes (maracuyá).
On the palate, it is silky, firm, and with a fine fruity acidity.

Bodega Magarín is the Torres family's winery within the Rueda D.O. Located in the municipality of Villafranca de Duero, the winery's 3,000 square meters of facilities and its 17 hectares of verdejo and sauvignon blanc are dedicated to producing Camino de Magarín and Verdeo, two exceptional white wines that perfectly capture the essence of their Valladolid lands of origin.
