A unique wine made 100% from tempranillo grapes from a vineyard with vines aged between 40 and 45 years in the municipal area of Roa de Duero. Powerful, intense, and aromatically captivating.

Venta Las Vacas Finca La Cuartilleja Reserva 2020 is a red wine made exclusively with the finest selection of tempranillo from a 1.6-hectare vineyard in the town of Roa de Duero, with vines that are nearly half a century old, contributing aromas of black fruit and aromatic herbs to the wine. The uniqueness and aromatic richness are the virtues of this reserva red wine from Ribera del Duero.
Uvas Felices is a project that brings together different Spanish winemakers with the goal of presenting characteristic wines from the various regions of our country. The wineries associated with this project are located within some of the most important denominations of origin in Spain, such as Yecla, Rueda, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rías Baixas, Vinos de Madrid… Among the most notable references is this Venta Las Vacas Finca La Cuartilleja Reserva, from the renowned winemaker and oenologist, Juan Carlos Vizcarra.
With a limited production, this wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero underwent aging in French and American oak barrels for 16 months, which gave the wine a surprising balance and complexity, along with a silky palate. Venta Las Vacas Finca La Cuartilleja Reserva 2020 pairs perfectly with mountain or meat rice dishes, beef, lamb, and venison.
Tasting notes
Medium intensity garnet color, clean and bright.
On the nose, intense aromas of ripe black fruit, aromatic herbs, with a pleasant barrel perfume appear.
On the palate, it has a very good structure, balanced and with certain complexity, featuring fleshy and silky tannins and a long, pleasant finish.
