Albariño is the star of Galician vineyards, and the D.O. Rías Baixas is its quintessential stronghold. Valmiñor Albariño 2024 is crafted from Albariño vines located between the Miño River and the Atlantic Ocean. A thorough monitoring of the Albariño's quality in the vineyard is carried out until it reaches optimal ripeness. Harvesting is done manually, using 16 kg boxes, and the grape clusters are sorted on a selection table to ensure excellence.
Subsequently, a cold maceration at 10 ºC for 6 hours is applied, followed by gentle pressing. The must undergoes flotation clarification in stainless steel tanks before starting alcoholic fermentation, which takes place at a controlled temperature of 17 ºC for 15 days.
Adegas Valmiñor was founded in 1997 with the aim of producing high-quality white wines and positioning itself at the forefront of the Spanish wine sector. It has 34 hectares of its own vineyards within the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin, in the O Rosal subzone. Valmiñor's philosophy is based on the selection of land and vineyards, meticulous care of the grapes, and the application of advanced technologies to produce a wide range of wines with their own unique character, endorsed by several international awards.
