An irresistible Ribera del Duero with the Valdemar seal
Valdemacuco Selección 2024 is a Ribera del Duero wine made with Tempranillo and aged 5 months in oak barrels. From vineyards selected in Nava de Roa, it combines character, balance and an elegant profile that invites you to keep enjoying it.
Valdemacuco Selección 2024 concentrates the personality of the D.O. Ribera del Duero in a precise and well-defined elaboration. It is made with Tempranillo 100% and has 5 months of ageing in oak, a brief stay but sufficient to refine its profile and mark its character with a clear and recognisable line.
The grapes come from vineyards selected in the area of Nava de Roa, in Burgos, one of the most valued enclaves of the denomination. That origin brings the weight of the vineyard and places this wine in a landscape of tradition, where the selection of the raw material is an essential part of the result.
Valdemacuco Selección 2024 forms part of Fincas Valdemacuco, within Valdemar Family, which brings to the Ribera del Duero all the knowledge accumulated in Rioja. Its proposal seeks to respect the essence of the surroundings without renouncing a current and cared-for reading of the territory, with an identity very tied to its origin.

Founded in 1889, Valdemar is one of the oldest and most important wineries in Spain, a driving force behind the Rioja Alavesa we know today and revolutionary in its concepts. A house currently led by the fifth generation of the Martínez Bujanda family, whose success lies in the perfect combination of historical expertise blended with constant research to achieve the highest quality.
In 1985, Jesús Martínez Bujanda began a new chapter that transformed Valdemar into one of the most innovative wineries of the time: he launched wines onto the market with more intensity and color than the classic Riojas, fully embracing modernity. Additionally, this winery has been a pioneer in the use of temperature control during production and in the fermentation of Viura whites in wood.
Valdemar has developed a wide range of high-quality wines, known for their consistency and great distribution. These wines originate from an extensive estate-owned vineyard: 275 hectares; and are characterized by their long and magnificent aging processes.
