Txakoli Ameztoi Primus 2025 belongs to the highest range of Bodegas Ameztoi, a winery that has been producing some of the finest txakolis in Guipúzcoa for five generations. Crafted from the fruits of their best hondarribi zuri vineyards, it macerated with its skins and underwent fermentation on its lees for several months, losing the characteristic fine bubbles but gaining volume and structure. Its breadth and aromaticity make it a choice on par with other top-quality white wines.

Tasting notes
Txakoli Ameztoi Primus displays a white color with light yellow reflections, clean and bright.
On the nose, it stands out for its intensity, with fine and sophisticated aromas, dominated by notes of ripe tropical fruit (pineapple).
Dense and broad on the palate, it shows good structure and a long finish where the memories of ripe fruit return.
Bodegas Ameztoi is one of the leading txakoli houses of the D.O. Getariako Txakolina. Owned by the Ameztoi family, currently led by the fifth generation, the winery has 50 hectares of vineyards planted facing the Cantabrian Sea, in the Gipuzkoan town of Getaria.
The native varieties hondarribi zuri and, to a lesser extent, hondarribi beltza dominate the cultivation. With these, Bodegas Ameztoi crafts, in an artisanal manner and following the traditions of Basque winemaking, one of the finest txakolis of the region.
