Exclusivity and strict selection are the main hallmarks of Tr3smano Tm 2018, the latest vintage of the highest range red wine from the winery of the same name, launched in 2013 by three prominent figures in the wine world: José Ramón Ruiz, general director of La Europea, the winemaker Fernando Remírez de Ganuza, and the renowned enologist Pedro Aibar.
The production of this magnificent single-varietal tinta del país began with the manual harvest of a select handful of old vines owned by the winery in the best area of Ribera del Duero. From these, the highest quality clusters were separated in the vineyard itself, and later, upon arrival at the winery in boxes, underwent another selection process. The grapes from each vineyard were vinified separately, and the resulting wine was aged for 26 months in French and American oak barrels. After monthly tastings conducted by Fernando Remírez de Ganuza and Pedro Aibar, only the contents of 12 selected barrels out of the 20 initially filled with the entire batch were bottled.
The brilliant result of this meticulous artisanal process is none other than Tr3smano Tm 2018, a concentrated, complex, structured, and silky red wine with an aging potential of 20 years. It is perfect for pairing with Iberian ham, lamb, game meats, or dark chocolate desserts, as well as for enjoying slowly and peacefully after a meal. Truly unique.

As its name suggests, Tr3smano is a winery located in the so-called “Golden Mile” of Ribera del Duero, born from the association of three great professionals of the wine scene: José Ramón Ruiz, general director of La Europea, a leading company in the import and distribution of wines in Mexico; Fernando Remírez de Ganuza, one of Spain's most important winemakers; and the prestigious enologist Pedro Aibar, a driving force behind the D.O. Somontano and a key figure in the success of renowned wineries such as Viñas del Vero, Blecua, El Coto, or his family winery Pagos del Moncayo.
With the aim of finding old vineyards to produce an exceptional red wine from their fruit, the joint venture began its journey in 2013 in Peñafiel, “a trasmano” (off the beaten path) from the road connecting this town with its neighbor Quintanilla de Onésimo. The winery's facilities, a building integrated into the landscape and designed by the architectural studio Konkrit Blu, are located near the famous Vaccaei archaeological site of Pintia, where, additionally, there is an ancient winepress used traditionally for grape treading on this estate as early as the 18th century.
Tr3smano has 25 hectares of its own vineyards, with very low yields and planted with tempranillo, as well as 35 more hectares of controlled vineyards. All work is done manually, with the utmost care to preserve the quality of the grapes. In the winery, the brand advocates for a wise combination of tradition and a personal interpretation of new enology techniques, with no fixed rules, both in terms of winemaking and aging, guided solely by the characteristics of each vintage and the potential of the grapes. The result is unique wines, marked by excellence, where fruit, wood, and time merge in perfect balance.
