General Information

Todo o Nada by Arzuaga 2023 is made with tempranillo (92%) complemented by a contribution of cabernet sauvignon, malbec, garnacha, and albillo. The grapes come from the La Planta estate in Quintanilla de Onésimo (Valladolid), located in the “Golden Mile.” This property is situated at an altitude of 900 m, a height that all wineries now seek to bring freshness to their wines. Additionally, La Planta has poor soils with a limestone base that ensures low yields of excellent quality. After a meticulous winemaking process, this red wine underwent 11 months of aging in barrels.

Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro is one of the main quality benchmarks in Ribera del Duero. Led by the Arzuaga family, who in the 1990s became captivated by the viticultural potential of the La Planta estate. In winemaking, they focus on artisanal and natural methods with maximum attention to detail. As Ignacio Arzuaga (second generation) explained in an interview for Vinoselección: “The most important thing is to put love into all these processes; I compare it to cooking—without love, nothing delicious comes out.” The result is wines with pronounced fruit, powerful yet elegant and balanced.

The red wine Todo o Nada by Arzuaga 2023 (D.O. Ribera del Duero) is ideal for pairing with mushroom risotto or roasted pork ribs.

Tasting notes

Intense cherry.

Very expressive on the nose, with prominent aromas of red fruit alongside floral notes (violet) and hints of cocoa.

On the palate, it is ripe, pleasant, sweet, and excellently balanced. Well-integrated sweet tannins and a good-length finish.

The winery

Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro

Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro is one of the quality benchmarks of Ribera del Duero and one of the great wineries of our country. It produces modern wines with a fruit-forward expression, powerful yet elegant and balanced, and with a marked character of what a great Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero has to offer.

The brilliant journey of Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro began in the early nineties thanks to the determination of Florentino Arzuaga, a hospitality entrepreneur who sought to establish a cutting-edge winery project on the banks of the Duero. To achieve this, he chose one of the most privileged areas of this production zone, which was then in full expansion: the municipality of Quintanilla de Onésimo (Valladolid), in the area known as the “golden mile” of Ribera del Duero, where illustrious names such as Vega Sicilia and Finca Villacreces are located.

The winery's first vineyard was planted in the early nineties at Finca La Planta, a 1400-hectare estate located a few kilometers from the facilities, at an altitude of over 900 meters on clay-limestone soil, giving it very particular characteristics. Finca La Planta today hosts 70 hectares of vineyards.

In addition to La Planta, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro owns other estates in the municipalities of Quintanilla de Onésimo and on the plateau of Olivares de Duero, and continues to undertake new plantations, all organically farmed.

Furthermore, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro has become one of the main wine tourism destinations in Ribera del Duero: it features a hotel, spa, and restaurant, as well as offering visits to Finca La Planta, where deer and wild boar can be spotted.
