In 2024 one of the most original and exclusive proposals of Vinoselección cannot be missing: the Thyssen Selection, now in its sixth edition. A collection of ‘SUPERWINES’ dressed with works of art from the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum because, after all, there is a lot of art in wine. Now, for the summer, we suggest you enjoy a preview of this fantastic collection, made up of three of the six red wines that comprise it. We’ve tasted them and they’re already at a perfect moment for tasting!
Matarromera Prestigio 2019 offers the maximum expression of Tempranillo from the golden mile of Ribera del Duero. It bears the seal of one of the most prestigious and successful Spanish wineries, Matarromera, a firm that only produces its top Prestigio label in great vintages, such as this 2019 (Excellent). For its part, Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva 2016 is a classic Rioja wine, created by a winery that celebrates a century of history and enjoys a huge market share. We close with a red wine from the Eguren family, a surname linked to four generations of Rioja winegrowers and today one of the most prestigious in the world of wine. This is Victorino Edición Limitada 2020, which originates from valuable pre-phylloxera vines from the Toro D.O.
