General Information

Supersónico 2022 is born from vines over 80 years old located in the Las Frías area, in the Sierra del Jalón, at an altitude of 1030 meters, with a northern orientation. These extreme conditions, along with the continental climate and the influence of the cierzo, provide a slow ripening of the fruits, preserving acidity and enhancing floral and herbal aromas. The poor and stony soils contribute minerality and tension, resulting in a fresh and delicate garnacha, complemented by a touch of macabeo that adds subtlety to the ensemble.

The winemaking process is carried out with whole clusters, fermented in oak vats with native yeasts, which bring complexity and authenticity. After fermentation, the wine rests for 12 months in large 2500-liter foudres and used barrels, gaining volume and elegance without losing freshness. This traditional method, combined with minimal intervention, allows Supersónico to retain its pure and expressive character.

Bodegas Frontonio is a project that champions garnacha as Aragonese heritage. Its philosophy is based on minimal intervention, gravity-fed winemaking, and the use of noble materials such as wood and cement, to create wines that express the authenticity of the landscape and local tradition.

Supersónico 2022 is ideal to pair with red meats, roasted or stewed dishes, meat-based rice dishes, pasta with rich sauces, and grilled dishes. It also harmonizes with sweet spices, Mediterranean herbs, and mushrooms.
