Solabal Reserva 2021, bold and elegant, reflects the essence of Rioja with Tempranillo from 60-year-old vines. Its palate is creamy, deep and full of dark fruit, with a background of noble woods that seduces from the first glass. Let yourself be carried away by its character.

Solabal Reserva 2021 is a delicious single-varietal Tempranillo born from 60-year-old vines, located in the privileged surroundings of Ábalos, a small village in the Sonsierra Rioja, at a high location sheltered by the Cantabria Range. Here Solabal's vines grow on southern slopes over calcareous-clay soils.

The harvest is carried out by hand. And after traditional winemaking, the wine is aged for 24 months in American oak barrels (50%) and French oak (50%), followed by a further year in bottle. Thus a Rioja village wine is obtained that reflects the personality and charm of its place of origin.

Bodegas y Viñedos Solabal is located in Ábalos, a small town renowned for the exceptional quality levels that Tempranillo grapes achieve here. At the winery, the most advanced techniques are combined with traditional winemaking methods, and in the ageing room American and French oaks sit side by side. Solabal produces its wines from 120 hectares of vineyards spread across different plots in the municipality of Ábalos, with different orientations and microclimates.
