General Information

Sincronía Blanc 2023 is the quintessential white wine from Bodegas Mesquida Mora, one of the most representative wineries of Mallorcan wine. The young winemaker Bárbara Mesquida, the owner of the house, is committed to a viticulture that combines tradition and biodynamics to produce young, fresh wines with a distinct Mediterranean character, like this white wine that the Club brings to you.

The design of Sincronía Blanc 2023 is the result of combining several types of winemaking processes. On one hand, the pre-fermentation maceration of prensal blanca, and on the other, the direct pressing of grapes from the youngest vineyards of chardonnay, parellada, and giró owned by Bodegas Mesquida Mora in the region of Porreres, in the heart of the island of Mallorca. After the separate fermentation of the four varieties, the final blend was carried out, which remained on its lees until the moment of bottling.

Tasting notes

In appearance, Sincronía Blanc exhibits a brilliant straw yellow color.

In the olfactory phase, notes of white fruits (apple, pear) initially emerge, which then give way to sweeter sensations of peach and melon.

Taste-wise, it is round, fleshy, long, and persistent. Dense finish and, at the same time, fresh.

The winery

Bodega Mesquida Mora is a young Mallorcan winery born from the passion for wine of philologist and winemaker Bárbara Mesquida Mora. Although it was founded in 2012, the winery, based in the town of Porreres, is the heir to an important family winemaking tradition that dates back to 1945. It was in that year when her grandfather, a modest farmer cultivating apricots and vineyards on his small lands, decided to start producing his own wine due to the low prices he received for selling his grapes.

Bárbara's father inherited the company, which, under the name Jaume Mesquida, gained great prominence on the island, being a pioneer in introducing foreign varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and syrah. Between 2004 and 2012, the young winemaker worked intensively in the family business until she decided to venture out on her own.

Mesquida Mora builds its project on respecting the family wine heritage of its founder and owner, starting with the choice of the winery's name, taken from her paternal and maternal surnames, and on 20 hectares of biodynamic vineyard. A significant part of this vineyard is made up of old vines over 40 years of age of those foreign varieties, while the rest consists of native varieties such as prensal, giró (or garnacha), callet, and manto negro. With all these, the winery produces wines under the protected geographical indication of V.T. Mallorca, aiming to express their full potential: three reds, two whites, and two rosés that stand out for their vibrancy and truly appealing authenticity.
