General Information
Produced in the municipality of La Morera Del Montsant, in Tarragona, Scala Dei Pla Dels Àngels 2022 is a fine single-varietal rosé made from Garnacha from the D.O.Q Priorat. The grapes used come from young and old vineyards with north and east orientations, planted at an altitude between 500 and 600 meters on clay soils that preserve acidity and ensure freshness at the time of harvest.
The production of Scala Dei Pla Dels Àngels is distinguished by the meticulous effort of the winery, part of the Raventós Codorníu group, to preserve the aromatic qualities of the fruit. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were cooled to 2ºC, destemmed, and after 3 hours of maceration with the skins, the bleeding process began in the tank to achieve the characteristic pale rosé color. Once racked, the fermentation process was carried out as for a white wine. Four months in stainless steel tanks refined the wine before bottling.

De color muy pálido, nos deja intuir que, aunque proceda de uva negra, se acercará más a un blanco. Reflejos azulados en el ribete, con un color rosado tenue en la herradura, y muy atractivo a la vista. Aromáticamente, es la sutileza de la fruta roja, fina y delicada como la vid de donde procede la uva, con notas cítricas que lo hacen fresco y que nos invitan a beber. Explosión de frescor y de sensaciones en boca donde destacan los sabores a fresas, y pomelo, seguidos de ecos anisados. Paso por boca refrescante y final envolvente que nos invita a volver a beber.
