General Information

In the heart of Ribera del Duero, in the Burgos area of the Cuenca del Riaza, lie the family vineyards that give life to Rippa Dorii Roble 2023. The plateau of Fuentecén, with its clay soils, hosts vines over 15 years old that produce superior quality grapes, with yields below 5500 kilos per hectare, concentrating the essence of the terroir in each cluster.

The Pérez Cuevas family, creators of the powerful Ontañón brand in Rioja and Bodegas Queirón, crafts this red wine at their Ribera del Duero Rippa Dorii winery. At their facilities in Fuentecén (Burgos), a pre-fermentation maceration of the fruits was carried out for three days. The fermentation lasted for more than 14 days at a controlled temperature (21-23 ºC), and malolactic fermentation was induced during the final development of the alcoholic fermentation. Finally, the wine was aged for seven months in new barrels with different toasts. The result is a young red wine with a great fruit load that perfectly integrates fruit and wood.

Rippa Dorii Roble 2023 is the perfect wine to accompany grilled meats, aged cheeses, or small game dishes.
