General Information

Bodegas y Viñedos Pradorey is one of the most prominent brands in the wine world, with an enormous viticultural heritage, a titan of Ribera del Duero that has established its wines as a benchmark of quality thanks to its passion for viticulture and its commitment to tradition and innovation. Each of its labels faithfully represents the terroir where they are born and the respect for a land that centuries ago had a glorious past, as in the 16th century it was owned by Isabel La Católica, who granted it the name Real Sitio de Ventosilla. Its grounds have seen personalities such as Lope de Vega, Rubens, Felipe IV, and Felipe V, among others, and today it is one of the most important wine estates in the world and one of the most visited in Ribera del Duero. The wine catalog it produces includes a variety of labels that reflect the richness of Ribera del Duero, offering everything from young and fresh wines to more complex ones like the magnificent Pradorey Finca La Mina Reserva 2020, a red wine that stands out for its elegance, balance, and aging potential.
Pradorey Finca La Mina Reserva 2020 is a sensational limited-production Tempranillo made with grapes from a single vineyard that gives the wine its name, La Mina, located within the Real Sitio de Ventosilla, one of the largest estates in Ribera del Duero. It was born from a harvest classified as Excellent in the denomination of origin and was perfected over 14 months in French and Central European oak barrels (65% new and the rest used).
Pradorey Finca La Mina Reserva 2020 will be the ideal pairing for dishes such as beef stew or braised venison loin; although it will also be a great companion for chocolate desserts.

Tasting notes

```html
It boasts a cherry red color with purplish tones and a deep layer.
It presents great complexity on the nose, where mineral aromas are observed alongside notes of red and black fruit, leading to hints of after eight and fine woods.
On the palate, it shows good structure and breadth, powerful yet elegant, sweet, pleasant, with fine and firm tannins and a long, persistent finish. Excellent woods.
The winery
Bodegas y Viñedos Pradorey
Bodegas y Viñedos Pradorey has experienced unstoppable growth since its foundation in 1996. Established as one of the most powerful wineries in the entire Ribera del Duero, the Cremades family’s firm can also boast of having improved its productions vintage after vintage, thanks, in large part, to careful business planning that began when they planted their first vineyards in 1989.
Pradorey (D.O. Ribera del Duero) is an example of sustainability and environmental care. Of the 3,000 hectares that make up the Real Sitio de la Ventosilla estate, 520 –divided into 8 plots– are dedicated to vine cultivation. Javier Cremades, its founder, managed to recover tinta fina (tempranillo) vines over a century old, whose yield, though small, is exquisite and significantly enhances the quality of the winery’s wines.
Since 2007, Pradorey has expanded its scope to the D.O. Rueda, where it built new facilities equipped with the most modern technology. Pradorey’s commitment to innovation is evident in the use of pioneering systems like Boreal, a process for cooling musts with CO2. As for the vineyard, they cultivate both verdejo and sauvignon blanc, with some vines that are up to 100 years old.
