General Information

Pommery Brut Royal embodies the excellence and innovative spirit of the Pommery House, masterfully blending tradition and innovation. Under the expert guidance of winemaker Thierry Gasco, this champagne has become the ambassador of the distinctive freshness, refinement, and liveliness of the French brand.

Pommery Wineries encompass the largest walled vineyards of the AOC Champagne, located in northeastern France. The grapes used by the brand to produce Pommery Brut Royal champagne come from a meticulous selection of 40 plots located in the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims, and other surrounding areas. This exceptional terroir, blessed with a unique microclimate, enhances the expressiveness and delicacy of the chardonnay grapes that form the backbone of this sparkling wine.

For its production, a first fermentation takes place in a chalk cellar located 30 meters underground, at a very low temperature, to allow the slow creation of fine and elegant bubbles. Pommery's characteristic style involves clarifications and careful rackings in the various processes to separate the lees from the wine. The dosage liqueur consists exclusively of Grands Crus blancs, preserving the delicacy and qualities of the base wines that make up this blend. The result is an exceptional, versatile, and sophisticated brut champagne.

Pommery Brut Royal is perfect as an aperitif or to accompany a wide range of dishes, from seafood and fish to poultry and white meats. Its freshness and complexity will enhance a multitude of culinary options.

The Pommery house was founded in 1836, and its president, Prince Alain de Polignac, is a direct descendant of Madame Pommery, ensuring the preservation of the house's tradition and unique style. Pommery is a magnificent winery built with luxurious Elizabethan-style buildings and features 18 kilometers of underground galleries that house around 29 million bottles. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and 25 hectares of vineyards in Reims, its vineyard is considered the most beautiful in the Champagne region. The Pommery vineyard supplies 30% of the winery's needs, one of the highest supply rates among Champagne houses, complemented by contracts with local winegrowers.
