General Information

Behind Bodegas Legaris lies the most personal commitment of the Raventós Codorníu group. An initiative established from the vineyard itself, following a comprehensive study of the soils where the company wanted to plant the vines to create a style of wines that are fresh, fruity, elegant, and not lacking in complexity.

An investment in modernity at the service of an excellent wine-growing heritage, located in Curiel de Duero (Valladolid), one of the most privileged areas for cultivating the tempranillo variety in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Legaris takes pride in quality viticulture in all its attributes: uniformity in the vineyards, plant health, and vigor control to obtain small berries that offer their very best.

Contemporaneous with the planting of a vineyard that today spans around 100 cultivated hectares, the facilities of Legaris express the essence of its wines in harmonious modernity with the surroundings. The winery was designed by Domingo Triay, a prestigious architect who envisioned a building that maintains the connection between the exterior and the interior. The luminous landscape of the vineyards effortlessly reaches the intimate interior of a winery that is absolutely functional for the winemaking processes of wines like the one we now present to you, Páramos de Legaris 2023.

Tasting notes

In the visual phase, Páramos de Legaris displays an intense black cherry color with a deep layer.

On the nose, it is complex and expressive, highlighting aromas of black fruits in jam and mineral notes, which give way to hints of chocolate, roasted notes, and sensations of juanola.

On the palate, it is structured, broad, flavorful, with good acidity and noble tannins. It enjoys good balance and fruity character, being both powerful and elegant. The finish is long and persistent.
