General Information

Nexus One 2021 is a Tempranillo grown in the best vineyards owned by the winery in the Pesquera de Duero area (Valladolid), in clayey and sandy soils. It’s been aged for 8 months in French Allier oak barrels. The previous vintage, that of 2020, was awarded 94 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards, and this new vintage is following in its footsteps in terms of quality.

Bodegas Nexus is a new, modern firm located in a marvellous setting in Pesquera de Duero (Valladolid). It’s a 'boutique' winery – it produces only 125,000 bottles a year – but has state-of-the-art equipment. It owns 40 hectares of Tempranillo vines, the main variety in the D.O., and makes wines that combine traditional techniques (sorting of bunches by hand) with cutting-edge technology.

Its wines respect the character of the terroir and are aged in the best French Allier oak vats – such as Nexus One 2021 (D.O. Ribera del Duero). It’s ideal with char-grilled baby lamb chops or gourmet-stye hamburgers with mature cheese.

Nexus is a new and modern winery located in the privileged setting of Pesquera de Duero (Valladolid). A small yet state-of-the-art winery, highly technological, which stands out as one of the most important newcomers in Ribera del Duero. It boasts 40 hectares of its own vineyards planted with the tempranillo variety, the queen grape of the D.O., and with these fruits, it produces wines that combine traditional techniques (hand selection of grape clusters, aging in the finest French oak vats) with cutting-edge technology. Wines that respect the character of the terroir.

Nexus is part of the Nexus & Frontaura project, which also owns another winery in the D.O. Toro. Furthermore, Nexus is one of the firms that promotes wine tourism, offering various options for tourists. Additionally, it owns a hotel located in the Historic Center of Valladolid: Nexus Suites & Hotel.
