Since its establishment in the 1990s, Bodegas y Viñedos Neo has been one of the most dynamic wineries and a fundamental reference in the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero. A winemaking house that began in an old water mill located in Aranda de Duero and that, swiftly, thanks to the high scores from critics of the stature of Robert Parker (The Wine Advocate) and Jancis Robinson, or publications such as Decanter, has positioned itself at the center of international consumer attention.
Since 2005, the company has had a new winemaking facility located in Castrillo de la Vega. A modern winery, young, fresh, and groundbreaking, equipped with the latest technologies for winemaking, combined with a highly charming decoration, where a figure of Mazinger Zeta or the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars shine on their own merit.
However, the secret to the success of Bodegas y Viñedos Neo lies in a good vineyard selection. Respect for the winemaking tradition of the D.O. Ribera del Duero and the minimal intervention by those responsible for their cherished vineyards turn the winery's wines into true ambassadors of the best ‘ribera’, as is the case with Neo Reserva 2016, a wine we bring to you exclusively for the national market.
In appearance, it presents a beautiful intense ruby red color, evenly distributed throughout the glass.
On the nose, it reveals a complex and very elegant aromatic range. First, notes of black fruits in jam (blackberry and blueberry) appear, along with floral touches, as well as hints of sweet spices; all in perfect harmony over a lactic background.
On the palate, it is flavorful, enveloping, with a good structure and a mature, silky tannin well integrated into the whole. It has a smooth entry, which then unfolds with breadth. Good final persistence, where the spicy hints announced on the nose reappear.

Music, and especially rock and roll, is the other great passion of Neo’s creators. So much so that the winery features a recording studio designed by Philip Newell, the same designer of the legendary Abbey Road studio known by The Beatles. As organizers of the renowned Sonorama Ribera festival held in Aranda de Duero, their commitment to quality music is undeniable, just as it is in all processes of crafting their serious and highly acclaimed wines in over fifty international markets.
