General Information

The care and attention a mother gives to her children inspires the name of Nana Albariño 2023, one of the most select wines from Attis Bodega y Viñedos, a benchmark winery in Rías Baixas.

The oldest vineyards of the family that owns the winery, located on granite and sandy-clay soils in the heart of the Valle del Salnés, and cultivated organically, form its exceptional origin. This origin, combined with precise and artisanal winemaking and 12 months of aging in French oak with batonnage, results in an intense, full-bodied, and elegant Albariño, perfect for pairing with fatty fish, white meats, and creamy cheeses. Its limited production makes Nana Albariño 2023 a coveted choice for lovers of white wines with unique character and great potential.

Tasting notes

Of an intense straw yellow color with golden rim.

Very intense, deep, and complex nose with aromas of ripe white fruit (apricot, Williams pear, and vineyard peach), toasted hints of nuts and spices, mineral and empyreumatic notes.

On the palate, it is very dense and intense. Its power is enhanced by a magnificent acidity and great aromatic persistence.

The winery

In the heart of the Salnés Valley, specifically in the municipality of Meaño, lies Attis Bodega y Viñedos, a family-owned winery that produces authentic, artisanal, and Atlantic wines.

All the winery's creations are made from native varieties of the D.O. Rías Baixas, crafted with the utmost care and respect for the environment and the vines, from cultivation to vinification, including the harvest. The production is entirely artisanal, resulting in wines with a distinct Atlantic character and high salinity, a hallmark of this subzone of the Salnés Valley.
