Mar de Frades Brut Nature displays a lemony golden yellow color.
On the nose, it is expressive and complex, full of finesse. Notes of white fruits, hints of eucalyptus and seawater appear, over a background of toasted bread and almond shell.
On the palate, it is broad, tasty, creamy, and fresh. Varietal notes are perceived with a pleasant and fresh finish. Fine and elegant bubbles.
Tradition and innovation walk together. We knew how to interpret the vineyard to obtain the optimal albariño grape to apply the traditional sparkling wine production method, which at the time was an absolute revolution.
Founded in 1987 by a group of winegrowers from the Salnés area, Bodegas Mar de Frades is currently part of the Zamora Group, which is led by the third generation of this family saga. A pioneering winery in the production of high-quality albariños, since 2007, with its new facilities, it stands majestically facing the Arosa estuary. The winemaking building where the wines are born is equipped with the latest technologies applied to winemaking, combining stainless steel tanks with noble woods.
Mar de Frades works with more than 150 winegrowers from the area; additionally, the winery owns nearly 60 hectares of vineyards, a heritage that, in a region dominated by smallholdings, makes it one of the largest vineyard owners in the D.O. Rías Baixas.
