General Information

Lanson White Label is part of the most classic sparkling wine range from the maison Lanson, one of the most prestigious historic wineries in the French region of Champagne.

As its name and label suggest, the uniqueness of this champagne lies in the slight predominance of white Chardonnay (38%) in the final coupage, complemented by the red Pinot Noir (37%) and Pinot Meunier (25%). Lanson White Label retains the unique style of Champagne Lanson, characterized by freshness, strength, and a pronounced fruity character, particularly noticeable in its subtle and natural aromas of white fruit, with a silky mineral finish.

From its headquarters in Reims, the renowned house has been committed for nearly 260 years to the traditional method of A.O.C. Champagne, avoiding malolactic fermentation to fully preserve the natural acidity of the grapes and maximize the fruity aromas, liveliness, and freshness. These qualities are further enhanced by long aging periods, exceeding even the time requirements established in the region. In the case of Lanson White Label, the aging on lees lasted 3 years, endowing it with nuances that make it an absolutely exceptional sparkling wine and a perfect choice for your celebrations.

At sight, it presents a straw-yellow color, sprinkled with fine bubbles.

On the nose, aromas of white flowers and fruit (summer pear) stand out, perfectly complemented by mineral notes.

The attack is tender and delicate. The flavors of white fruit provide persistence. Fresh finish with silky minerality.

The winery

Winery

Lanson is today an international brand present on five continents, combining boldness and tradition. The prestigious Champagne brand Lanson was established in 1760 and features the Maltese Cross on its labels as a tribute to its founder, a knight of this order. Today, more than two and a half centuries later, Lanson is the second-largest champagne producer in France, with 19.8 million bottles, and remains an official supplier to the British Royal Household. The Lanson style, internationally recognized, originates from the exclusion of malolactic fermentation during the production process. This peculiarity allows the reserve wines to express their full aromatic richness.
