Since 1985, La Val has played a key role in the development of the D.O. Rías Baixas, at a time when Albariño was not yet prestigious and homemade, poorly crafted wines were abundant. Its firm commitment to technical and demanding viticulture transformed the Galician winemaking landscape, establishing the winery as one of the great pioneers of quality white wines in the region.
We have gathered three of their best wines in a collection, all from the same vintage, but very different from each other. Get your box now and enjoy one of the best wineries in Rías Baixas at a very special price!
La Val Albariño 2024 is a blend of Albariños from different plots located in the Condado de Tea subzone, at a low altitude above sea level. The diversity of soils among these estates adds richness and nuances to the wine, resulting in an expressive white with marked freshness and great vivacity.
La Val Arantei 2024 is a single-vineyard Albariño, made exclusively with grapes from the 26-hectare Arantei estate, where Bodegas La Val practices meticulous viticulture aimed at excellence. The result is a wine with remarkable aging potential in the bottle.
Meanwhile, La Val Condado de Tea 2024 is made with Albariño, Treixadura, and Loureiro grown on the Porto estate, a 4-hectare plot with over ten years of history that provides identity and balance to the blend.
