That is the idea that Attis Bodega y Viñedos, located in the heart of the Valle del Salnés, presents with its label Genio y Figura Albariño 2023, the latest harvest of its youngest white wine which, despite its modern profile, keeps intact the essence of the Rías Baixas tradition.
Even in the name of this white wine, inspired by the popular saying "Genio y figura hasta la sepultura," we have a clear hint of the philosophy of the firm, founded in 2000 by the brothers Robustiano and Baldomero Fariña: to make the most of their vineyards to express in the resulting wines all the flavor of the most Atlantic Galicia. And they certainly achieve this with this Genio y Figura Albariño.
A manual selection of Albariño grapes from the youngest vineyards that the winery works in the best area of the D.O. Rías Baixas make up this white wine, whose production process included pneumatic pressing of the grapes, cold settling, and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature (between 12 and 15 ºC). Due to its organoleptic characteristics, which highlight its freshness in the mouth and citrus memories, Genio y Figura Albariño 2023 is the perfect companion for seafood and all kinds of fish dishes.
