La Loma & Los Santos 2022 comes from two unique vineyards in the Sierra del Jalón, where the altitude and continental climate impart freshness and tension to the grapes. The limestone soils contribute minerality and a characteristic dry finish. The macabeo and garnacha blanca vines are grown as bush vines and under dry farming conditions, using sustainable practices to preserve the authenticity of the Aragonese terroir.
After a 24-hour maceration, the must ferments in concrete tanks, respecting the varietal purity and enhancing the aromatic expression. The wine is aged for 14 months in 500- and 900-liter oak barrels, where it gains volume, complexity, and a creamy texture while maintaining freshness. This traditional method, combined with minimal intervention, allows La Loma & Los Santos to retain its vibrant and elegant character.
Bodegas Frontonio is a project that champions native varieties and minimal intervention. Its philosophy is based on gravity-fed winemaking and the use of noble materials such as concrete and wood to create wines that express the authenticity of the Aragonese landscape. La Loma & Los Santos is their commitment to sophistication.
