Estancia Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a red made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon in the Lujány Maipú area, in Valle Central-Mendoza. The grapes were destemmed, cold macerated and fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats with selected yeasts, followed by natural malolactic fermentation. After the final blending and filtering, this red, which is deep ruby-red with purplish hues, was bottled. The spicy aromas in the nose recall sweet peppers combined with black fruits. Pleasant on the attack with ripe tannins, great balance and a long finish.
Argentina can boast of a long experience in grape growing that began more than 460 years ago when the priest Juan Cedrón planted the first Muscatel vines from Spain. Today it’s the most important winemaking country in South America. Argentina’s terrain and climate make it ideally suited to producing wines of excellent quality. The vineyards are distributed in attractive oases from north to south, running parallel to the Andes mountains.
Founded in 2004, Bodega Estancia Mendoza is located in the province of Mendoza. Its wines reflect the essence of the land lying close to the highest peaks of the Andes. Cabernet Sauvignon achieves astonishing results in this dry, desert-like terrain with complex soils, thaw streams and major temperature differences between day and night,.
Estancia Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Mendoza, Argentina) is ideal with dishes such as oxtail stew or char-grilled beef entrecote.
