The good adaptation of the most appreciated and widespread French white variety to Alicante lands is demonstrated in Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay 2025, a very well-crafted wine that surprises with its elegance and aromatic intensity.

Despite its youth, Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay 2025 is a full-bodied white wine with interesting aromatic nuances and good persistence and maturity on the palate.

All these qualities are due to its meticulous production process. In fact, Bodegas Enrique Mendoza, after selecting the best chardonnay grapes from their vineyards located in the Cabezo de la Virgen de Villena area, macerated them for three hours before proceeding to fermentation at a temperature of 15 ºC. The added value of this wine lies in the fact that, until the very moment of bottling, it remained in contact with its yeasts and lees.

Bodegas Enrique Mendoza is considered one of the most representative wineries of the D.O. Vinos Alicante and one of the pioneers in introducing foreign grape varieties to the region, such as the French chardonnay that stars in this Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay 2025 that the Club recommends to you. Respect for the vineyard, cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agriculture, and the winemaking expertise of this winery have produced remarkable wines, increasingly appreciated by both the public and specialized critics.

Tasting notes

Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay has a straw yellow color, with golden and greenish reflections.

Aromas on the nose of hay, freshly cut grass, green apple, nuts (hazelnut), ripe tropical fruits (banana and pineapple), and subtle notes of bread crust and pastry.

On the palate, it is persistent, creamy, mature, and well-balanced with good acidity.
